Hi

Whilst having my van moted today I was reading R Hammond's piece on shopping around for insurance.

I was just going to renew as a matter of course but I think a few extra quotes would be handy.

I run a van, a hangover from when I as doing gardening work some time ago....so it means commercial veh insurance.

Any recommendations?

Gladiator just now.

TIA

David

Choice Quote.
I have a rather unusual 4x4 single cab flatbed which not only needed road insurance but also on site insurance (case one of them bloody great earth movers banged into me)
They sorted it.

Thanks but they haven't sorted me.

I called twice today(for a quote), both times they said they would ring back.....they didn't.

I’m sorry to hear that David. All I can say is they were excellent when I dealt with them.
I got quoted silly amounts when they considered the equipment I carried and the fact I would be in there “mixing it” with heavy plant on site.

Some companies were quoting in thousands rather than hundreds and thats on a clean licence with 4 years no claims
