It requires either a Touch/iPhone/Pad or PC to be on to stream music to it. Doesnt work with a NAS unless your PC is taking the iTunes and then streaming to it which is hardly straightforward.

Apple TV is similar in that airplay can stream to that but again wont take straight from NAS. Denon are bringing out Airplay enabled AV Amps shortly btw

So its a fruit based system for fruit bats. :)

If you have to add a PC, then you might just as well use a PC based system to start with.

Some domestic NAS come with an iTunes server pre-installed.

How big is this box? It compares only to a Logitech Boom.
