speakers and amplifier interest check

hi,

due to recent refurb and lack off space i have to downsize.
i am considering selling off b&w cdm 7se speakers (8ohm, 90db, 30-150w power handling). both have grills, spikes but no boxes so i would prefer collection.
drivers are in good condition with no marks. cabs have seen better days - some scratches here and there but nothing too major.. I will post some photos tomorrow. £395 ono.

also i have kel84 amplifier (purchased last year from tubehunter) with almost new valvles jj el34 ~30hrs , mullard ecf ~15hrs. £300.

Those B&W's are good as I remember. Also, if they were good enough for my favourite EM band to use in their studio, they must be more than good enough for domestic use - possibly with a higher damping factor ss amp with no treble edge or hardness....

You're asking very reasonable prices IMO. Good luck with the sale :)

Last year before refurb I started building dedicated amp for these speakers. Unfortunately my missus decided to drop some heavy object on boards and I havent had a time or money to finish it yet.

One of them has a marker pen line on the side which i will try to remove before sale. Its barely visible. Pictures dont do them justice.

The KEL84 is a great little amp and £300 is a good price, I would advertise it on the WAD forum, at your asking price it should go quickly.

the valves are el84 not 34.:doh: i have confirmed that amplifier is a standard version, single input of kel 84. :)

amplifier still for sale. just had it checked over by John Caswell from world audio forum who has built many wad kits. it passed with flying colours.:eyebrows:


due to changes in my system i will consider swaps for valve pre amp or bookshelf speakers.
