Seems to be a packaging design issue thats not apparent till shipping comes into play..As owners know they are a trifold digipack without plastic inlay tray, the booklets sit in a pocket, the booklets that thick & only same size as a booklet you would get in a standard jewel case, a large cavity appears when folded near the spine, any pressure applied to this package when closed will crease the full length of the spine because of the cavity.I also have issues with the disc being slipped into a tight pocket with no protection to the disc playing surface, it's also hard not the touch the surface when removing the disc for play..I must have sent mine back 5 times now. :( However the printing on the disc & booklet are first class.

Those who buy the boxed set have no worries but i can't stick the early material hence bought seperatly.

I hate cardboard CD sleeves regardless because of the damage that removing a CD from this type of packaging causes. It does not matter how careful you are. Why can't UK/USA and European pressings not come with protective inner sleeves to protect the CDs ?

All the Japanese CDs I got from Andre this year had this nice extra that meant no CD should ever get damaged.....thing is though imho this *extra* should be the standard for all CD packaging. If they are going to do the CD LP sleeve type of package in cardboard that is...

Must agree..I have a few CD's scratched to buggery just by removing them and putting them back in their sleeves.

Hi Neil

If you want a source of those inner protective bags i can help also those re-sealable bags the card sleeves are in can be a pain aswell, as the adhesive can cause accidents, you can buy minature poly sleeves for the covers just like you buy for your vinyl albums..
