Can anyone recommend any partiuclarly good online or high-street sales at the moment? I'm thinking of places selling vinyl, digital discs, or high-res downloads.

Thanks for any pointers!

I guess you mean Rooted and Plastic Wax? Rooted is good for recent alternative dance / hip-hop stuff, but that's not really what's floating my boat right now. And Plastic Wax is OK for second hand stuff (the stock of good stuff is a bit limited though). There are a couple of good (sometimes pricy!) shops in St Nicholas' Market that I sometimes check at lunchtime, and there's a bookshop near the Christmas Steps that does OK second-hand vinyl as well...

I must admit that I was thinking more new issue vinyl. Rise on Park Street (up near Habitat) is very good. They had a lot of vinyl at £7 a pop, all new, with some interesting titles. It's the luck of the draw as to whether they have what you're after though. FOPP's ok, but a limited selection, not like it used to be.

Since Imperial and Replay closed down Bristol just hasn't been the same.
