Budding guitatist, trainee headbanger? You need guitar amps!

Now you can build your very own wall of sound*

Nice one Andy.

I've been working with my son on one of these (http://www.dawsons.co.uk/acatalog/00060228.jpg) which is ultimately more satisfying, but it's a damned sight more difficult to master;)

My problem is trying to correct my son's playing errors without coming across as being too negative; my son's problem is trying to overcome the completely natural action of curling one's fingers when not in use playing. That and stretching his hand out wide in order to gain greater finger span.
And his hand is only half the size of mine.

Hey, who said that this guitar thing was easy ?

Not me. Although I got en electric guitar as a teeneger, I couldnt play it for toffee:lol: I soon realised I was musically inept and decided I would be more use backstage rather than on stage.

Anyone who does play gets my admiration.

My son only started playing guitar this term just gone at school - I haven't pushed him into it at all, he decided that he wanted to do it himself.:mental:
I know for a fact that he had no idea just how much hard work it was going to be, but I do know that he gets a big buzz from things working out right, as do I.

My mate used to have a trace elliot amp just like that 4x10 combo ... We used to call it the big green monster ... It was a pretty awesome bit of kit!
