I'm with yah on high speed internet service being expencive.
I have Surewest and there service is outstanding.
$40.00 a month for 3 mbs $55.00 for 15 mbs $84.00 25mbs $175.00 for 50.00 mbs!Thats uber fast man!
My sevice is for 15 but when the net is not slamed like now it'd over 30mbs!
It's expencive but my computer is very fast.
They let me sample there 50mbs and it was always over 80mbs,they quote you the minimum but you always do better.

Try this then post your speeds.

http://speedtest.surewest.net/

My down load speed is 23359 kbps my upload speed is 18753 kbps
I don't know what that means but my computer is now pretty fast on the net.I don't know how to convert to mbs from kbps?

Depends on what you mean by not expensive. I use BT on the work line and Be on the home one. Both are just fine, I get about 6Mbs on the BT line and 13Mbs (ADSL2) on the Be one.

I'm with AAISP (http://aaisp.net.uk/home.html) using a BT Wholesale ADSLMax connection, this is because unfortunately my exchange has TalkTalk as the only LLU operator...looking forward to the time when Be/O2 will put their hardware into it, then I will get download/upload speeds...

I use Zen but it's not cheap @£35/month.

Why are you sick of it out of interest?

I'm on with Be and they have a doubled the speed I'd get with BT
£17 a month

and they dont have lower your bandwidth during core hours either

With BT and service is pretty good. Get 100GB monthly allowance for £20.

Speed could be a bit better though. :)

I'm using the Virgin Media 50Mb service. £25 per month + Virgin phone line (which I need one way or another anyway)

Very, consistently fast. In fact it sometimes hits up to 52Mbps on speedtest.net plus uploads are fast at nearly 5Mbps

Gotta be the only time ever that I've got a connection speed FASTER then I was paying for.....

Your internet is both fast and cheap, here in the U.S. it's far more expencive.
