When Alex UK gave me a Spotify invite (cheers Alex 3145) i had a good listen to a lot of stuff for free & ended up looking for a good few albums on CD that appear to be rather uncommon.

Unfortunately i couldn't find a damn thing on there from a certain artist/group & had to resort to Youtube ;) Thankfully i got to listen to quite a few tracks off of a few albums & i was quite happy with what i heard, good stuff :)

Just waiting for 5 CD albums from this certain band to end in about 30 minutes, i'm hoping i walk away with all 5 of them :eyebrows:

If you can't find it on Spotify then use the search mode on Youtube, i was amazed at how much stuff is on there

It'll certainly be getting vastly more use by me that's for sure. Only reason i thought to try it was because i couldn't find anything by Raison D'etre on Spotify, yet there were quite a few tracks off of each CD on youtube :)

Very handy indeed

On that note it's beer time ;)

You Tube is indeed a goldmine, just that the nuggets are very rough quality - still usually good enough to decide if you want to buy the album of course. Not just music - my washing machine door catch snapped, and I even found a step-by-step guide on how to fit a new one! (The part incidentally came from Amazon of all places! £7 delivered for the whole assembly, and zero labour costs - and to think we almost decided to bin it and buy a new one 'cos it wasn't worth the expense of repairing it!)

That's pretty handy Alex :) If you ever decide to bin the thing a little experimentation might be in order first (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7297&highlight=washing+machine) :lolsign:

I couldn't help it, anyone mentions a washing machine & i nearly piss myself laughing remembering that thread :eyebrows:

I think it was this (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showpost.php?p=143168&postcount=57) that broke it in the first place... :)
