Listening to Grumpy Wakeman's show on Planet Rock, and mention was made of misheard lyrics.
There was a cited example - Judas Priest with "Raking The Lawn"

the advert for toys'r'us ...
sounds like "theres millions of debris all under one roof"
but its actually "there's millions, says geoffrey, [the giraffe] all under one roof" ...
who new?! :)

...when i was at Poly we lived above a butcher's in Sunderland, as a practical joke we printed out on green listing (and stuck it in a large window over the shop), "Turkey's 2 for 1 for UB40 holders" and underneath...
"Every time you go away you take a piece of meat with you"
...needless to say the butcher wasn't best pleased!
