Listening to Grumpy Wakeman's show on Planet Rock, and mention was made of misheard lyrics.

There was a cited example - Judas Priest with "Raking The Lawn"

Does anyone have any favourite lyrical (mis)quotes ?:)

...when i was at Poly we lived above a butcher's in Sunderland, as a practical joke we printed out on green listing (and stuck it in a large window over the shop), "Turkey's 2 for 1 for UB40 holders" and underneath...

"Every time you go away you take a piece of meat with you"

...needless to say the butcher wasn't best pleased!
