Just wanted to pop up and make a quick public apology to Neil for letting him down.

I agreed to have a stab at a show report for the NAS and the later bake-off event and totally failed to deliver. :doh:

Unfortunately events overtook me and we've been locked in a negotiation with a property developer over a new-build we signed up to in April 2008 (yes just before the financial world went tits-up) and we were looking down the barrel of losing a £30k deposit. As a result, pretty much everything else got 'parked'.

Anyway, I'm back, I'm sorry and *fingers crossed* now NOT about to lose the money thanks to some fast talking and the help of a really, really helpful and nice solicitor (yeah they do exist. Who knew?!).

Hope everyone is well and not buried under a snow drift.

Not much snow here i'm afraid, its all ice now & vastly more dangerous :eek:

I must have got lucky with my solicitor, not only does she charge reasonable rates but is very efficient indeed. The best bit is she's about 5ft 9" tall, younger than me & wouldn't look out of place doing some serious modelling :eyebrows: The type that makes your hands sweat when signing things :lolsign:
