I'm gonna have to reteach myself, then teach my wife and some day my son.

I decided to get a guitar agein.

A blue Fender T bucket (great for blues with a restring) Black dimond strings http://www.juststrings.com/bkd-n600mb.html

It's been some years but I guess I'll give it a shot agein.
The dreadnought body is simler to the far more expencive Gibson blues king costing 5x more easily.
A poor black man could never have aforded todays Blues guitars, cheaper to build by desighn.

Seems youd hadta be a very well off Buddy Guy,T Bone walker,Muddy Waters to buy a $3,000 to 4,000 Blues King. Look at the Keb Mo blues master $3.868!

It's the price that gives you the Blues. http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Acoustic-Instruments.aspx

This Fender is a better guitar than I will ever need, with some good strings to pull on.

Well in the end I oppted out of the Fender.
I found the Epiphone PR 150 vintage sunburst to be a better choice for tone with some upgraded strings,It's going to the loother tomarrow to be tweeked and have the action lowered.A good blues guitar dosen't just happen.
Gibson makes Epiphone and the build quality is fantastic, and it has a very nice Spruce top, with Mohogany sides and back,Rosewood fret board and sealed tuneing machines. The Mohogany is exceptional with lots of figure, the 30 year loother said I got lucky as not all are that nice, same shipment will very in wood quality.
I may change out the tuneing machines after a year or so if they get loose to something a little better but it may not be nessecery.

Nice one Jeff. There does seem to be a strong correlation between people who enjoy hifi and those who make music - which is I am sure not an earth-shattering coincidence! I've been playing guitar badly for nearly 25 years, though I started off with keyboards and really got into PC music 15 years or so ago, though another hobby which I rarely get to do any more - that's why a guitar is good, can just pick it up for 15 minutes and drift off into your own little world... enjoy!

I also play guitar quite badly but at the moment I only have a very cheap PRS replica on which the bottom 'E' intonation is totally wrong. I really need a good guitar tech to look at it and sort it out but that would cost more than the guitar did. I'd rather spend the money on some vintage whisky ;)

I don't know what gypsy jazz is but that is one hell of a fantastic guitar!
The wood alone is worth the price.
