I like to thankx Marco and Beechwoods who - without knowing themself - planted the seeds for me getting seriously into cassettedecks again.
As a teenager I was recording like many of us here at AoS radioshows, vinyl albums, did my own mixtapes, made my own J-cards "art" etc.
My cassettedeck was a TEAC A-360, a great simple deck and I loved it. I still like to own another one if I could find a mint one, but I guess this will not happen. A few months back I bought myself a Nakamichi LX-3 - plus another one for future donor duties. The virus could not be stopped, so I ended up with a CR-4 and CR-5. Fortunately I did have enough tapes, and some blanks too, and I was lucky to pick up lots of tapes at thrift shops for 10-20 cents a piece, mostly chroom and some metal. So now I'm unwind and easy :lolsign:
