Visit my website (http://sites.google.com/site/hifacemods/home)for the various models of this on offer & also to read the many reviews of this product comparing it against the M2tech Evo, Hailide Bridge, etc.

Two versions are now available a SPDIF out version & a I2S out version.

The I2S version comes in a DIY basic format starting at €100 or in a boxed format. This is a new product and there is an introductory offer of a free fully working Sabre ES9022 DAC board for the first 5 orders of the I2S basic version.

Check out the I2S details, reviews & options/pricing here (http://sites.google.com/site/hifacemods/home/announcements/hifacei2s)

I am using the MK2 SPDIF model having traded up from the MK1. The sound quality of the MK2 model is superb and way way better than my Teac VRDS transport. If you are in the market for a cd player forget it, get yourself a modified Hiface from John and a good Dac. In the case of the SPDIF model get a couple of attenuators ,inexpensive but they make all the difference.
Great support and service from John.
