Hi just joined, this past year and and a half I have gone from asking what a pre amp is: to building a valve output stage...I have got heavily into valves..and tripaths....these cheap chinese boards take the michael out of my quad power amps..I have just got a saba radio going and that uses ecl82 tube as a output valve....it seems to sound great so I am wondering about building a ecl82 power amp to try and beat the tripaths... lol I have just realised that is just one of a multitude of projects I have swimming in my head....I have truely opened a can of worms Alan

Hi marco, my tastes in music are all over the place ....there is good and bad formas of all generas..but I guess I listen to a lot of 30s to 50s jazz.I found you on my search for information about the lampucera dac, I am doing a lot of work on it...got it linked to my valve output stage...I love it....I would let it be now but its my curiousity which is making me try and improve it further...

Can we have some pics please of your projects? Money's tight but soldering's not too bad still, so any info regarding kits, suppliers and costings would be very much appreciated :)
