so this is another hobby I'm quickly developing, much to the misses annoyance, along with photography and my weekend toy (Mazda RX7). i was lucky enough to be given a dac and amp by the father-in-law, so i guess its his fault, but I'm hooked already. musical taste, or lack of, i guess is quite open minded, I'm listening to Del Ametri (sp) as i type and bonny rate (sp) came out for that to go in and the last CD i brought was The XX.
Thanks, adie

That's it, blame someone else  I'm sure there is someone else to blame for all ills in this country :eyebrows:
Hi Adrian, just messing fella :) Welcome to AoS ;) I'm sure a few of my friends can lay the blame on me for the mad sums they have spent on equipment over the years
Nice motor btw, those wankel engines really do pack a punch :) So easy to tune as well, in certain respects they are like 2 stroke engines :eyebrows:
I hope you enjoy your stay at any rate, if Alex UK gets to grips with you later please don't let him scare you off, he's a first rate chap & likes to have a little fun :smoking:
All the best

oh, nothings my fault ;)
thanks for the welcome, having read a few threads it seams a nice laid back atmosphere here, which is nice, as like you say obscene amounts of money can be spent on kit and i guess it could become a bit elitist.
i look forward to Alex UK making me feel welcome in his own special way.
my bank balance might argue about the car being easily tune-able but yes in essence its a 2 stroke.

It seems my reputation precedes me! :) Mark, you've already done the Wankel angle, and that was the best material I had to hand - job's a good 'un though, 'cos now I can ask how often you polish your knob, how big is your jack, and how often do you like to whack it up? :eyebrows:
Nice music tastes - do you like Robert Palmer? I hear he and Mrs Palmer have five lovely daughters - Rosey Palmer is especially appealing!
I'd just like to toss this one into the ring - you'll find AoS is probably the most friendly (and possibly most vulgar!) hifi forum around, we don't bash anyone (especially Bishops) for their opinions - everyone has their own view which we respect, and unlike a salami, you can't beat your own ears!
I think I'd better quit now before I go blind - welcome, Adie, have fun and play safe! ;)
