I hear there is going to be a royal wedding? I assume this means that all the worlds crises will no longer be worth reporting until we all know who is going to make the dress, what the corgis are going to wear etc. Good grief, I am so glad I do not watch TV anymore.

Why do the broadcasters go wild whenever something like this happens?

Do they really think most of us downtrodden paupers really give a flying F**K.

:lolsign: As if anyone really gives a fig

Just signed out of my hotmail email account earlier & there it was in pics & blurb...

No clicky from me thank you very much ;) It'd make Eastern Benders look like real life if it all went t*ts up though :eyebrows:

I can't see it lasting in all honesty, even if they do tie the knot.

Oh that reminds me :eyebrows: I have a bottle of Royal Wedding ale from the last one if you can remember that far back... Charles & Diana, not Camilla :eyebrows:

Perhaps i should finally drink it on the day of this new union & see how long it lasts

Obviously the beer wouldn't last long at all... As for the marriage........... I bet it wouldn't last as long as this bottle of beer has without being drunk

I wish them all the best - they will have to live their lives in the public view with none of the annonimity and freedom of action that we all take for granted.

Traditions and Institutions are fundemental elements of British (or any) culture -we will only miss them when they are gone.
