Hi everyone, currently bidding on both of these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330493361628

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sansui-Turntable-222-MK-IV-/150516199356

just wondered if anyone had any experience with either? :scratch:and could maybe advise which would be a better bet. fancy a play with a dd, just to see what i could get out of it, before i rushed into 1210 modded terrortory, and spending grand plus.

cheers

Not heard any but imagine the pioneer to be the better bet

I have a Pioneer PL512, belt drive, but probably of similar vintage, it is a very good deck. No fuss, just does the job. Other decks that I have, Thorens TD124 II/ Ortofon RS212/ SL15E, Technics SL-110 (very nice), Pioneer PL12D, Dual 1019, Connoisseur Sugden BD1, Rotel belt drive (forget the model number), Thorens TD166 Mk II.
