Hi,

My name is Glen and I'm from the flatlands of Norfolk originally but currently living in Kent..

My musical tastes are pretty wide but basically everything with Guitars that is not Jazz music but also Dance, to classical to pop to whatever..

My system is not a "Pure" Hifi but I have a Onkyo 808 Amp, PMC Speakers and a Beresford Caiman DAC. My source is a Hermstedt Hifidelio Pro which I've "modded" to 400 GB with a silent kit. I'm using mainly Chord Cables with a few other random odds and sods.

Did I missing anything?

;)

Hi,

I'm a bit confused, I thought I started this thread in the welcome area, apparently not!

As you asked, some photos..Apologies for the rubbish pictures, my SLR wasn't to hand so I dug out my G9, and I'm a bit astonished as to how bad the pic is!

So, my complete system (rear speakers not shown!) and you can just make the PS3 lurking in the background..

The mess of cables you can see is the norm, the Mede8er (top left just under the telly) and the Amp are new additions so things are not quite in their final position yet..I've recently dropped my Denon TU-1800 DAB as despite Stan's DAC, I've come to the conclusion the best sound quality I've been getting is been via my 5 year Topfield Freeview DVB PVR straight into Amp.. I guess it goes to prove that if the source is rubbish (analogue signal not much cop round here either) then it's garbage in, garbage out..

Let me know if I've missed anything else!

EDIT: Sorry links not working properly, let me re-read the FAQ and I'll try again, please bear with me!
EDIT EDIT: Working now I think???
