Well hello.
I recently registered to see if I could get help with some old headphones.
But, before getting onto that, my name is Rob and the P is for the initial letter of my surname. So, a pretty boring user name, but it works. I live in Berkshire, so I hope that there'll be no jokes about a boring user name and a boring county!!
As for my system, I have a Pioneer PD-S701 CD player, a Sugden A48 amplifier and some Rogers Studio One loudspeakers. I also have a Linn Sondek with a Linn Akito tonearm and a Linn K9 cartridge. I rarely play vinyl these days, but I know that I'll have to replace the cartridge as the stylus is no longer available. As for the headphones, they are PWB electrostatics (or electrets perhaps?) though I can't use the as one of the transformers has blown in the box through which they connect to the amplifier. Hence the need for some help.
You'll also have to forgive me, I hope, as this is the first forum I've joined and I've no idea whether this is the correct way to post. If it is hello, and now goodbye!!
