Hi Folks,

I've had a few enquiries lately as to where I've been etc. etc. so here's the general outline of what I've been up to.

To cut a long story short; my wife and I separated in early September and I've been dealing with "other stuff" rather than participating in forum life!

In all honesty I've got too much to deal with at the moment to really bother with any of the forums and this will continue for the foreseeable future. I'm sure you'll understand.

In the meantime, should anyone wish/need to contact me try "m.homar(at)ntlworld.com" I've deliberately mucked that up to deter spam bots and the like.

Take care,
Mike.

Hi Mike, sorry to hear the news fella :( Life comes before a forum though so it's fully understandable, i hope things get a little easier so to speak sooner rather than later :)

All the best

Sorry to hear that Mike. I hope the baboon arse speakers weren't the cause? (Please excuse my gallows humour, but difficult to know what else to say, except if you do ever want to pop back in your AoS friends will be pleased to see you, any time.) All the best sorting it all out - been through it myself and it isn't easy, but one thing I held onto (literally, written on a scrap of paper from a friend) is that "things are never as bad as you think they are" - well, it worked for me.

Mike, I painfully travelled the route you are now starting out on many years ago and you probably feel emotionally crucified as I did but I can assure there will be day light in the future and someone else. I finally remarried a beauty who even does the soldering for me, dinkum.

AS the song goes' pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again', I did and it worked mate:)

Thanks for the kind thoughts, guys...

However, due to very recent events I'm unlikely to be back anytime soon.

However, I may pop in to offer folks a 'mates rates' deal should anyone be interested in taking up, or adding to, Virginmedia services.

Half price stuff on offer, maybe! ;)

Cheers...

Hello Mike,

Been away so only just picked up on your sad news. I'm sure the last thing you need is platitudes, so I'll just say that I've been there, it was tough at the time but I had good friends to call on. Can well understand that on-line fora are not at the forefront for you at the moment, but AoS really is different to most of the audio fora, so I would like to think you have friends here, even if they have peculiar usernames or avatars!

Take care - hope to see you back here soon.
