You can still get a 30 for about 35 quid.

I need more sockets than the 30 has :eyebrows:

I lost out on a e bay auction for one. It went for £60 in the end.
They still pop up from time to time.

I wonder when that was

Was it last Saturday evening by chance? :eyebrows: I thought it went for £58.75

I nearly bid on it too! (but decided to stick with a 2nd PF30 - will be putting it under the telly tomorrow.)

Yeah well i worked out that with at least 12 items requiring a mains connection in my rack that a single PF40 just wouldn't cut the mustard ;) There may well be 17 ( :stalks:) in which case i couldn't get away with a PF40 & PF30 either

Buy 2 then. Still be cheaper than a 40 will cost you now. S'what I did.

Methinks you may be right Ali. I was watching a 40 on ebay last night which went for £72 so I bought a 30 for £24 :eyebrows:

Even my wife said (without prompting) that Sky HD looked even better than usual (clearer and more vibrant) after I installed the PF30, so especially for AV use I would recommend one (and I needed exactly 5 inputs, which was nice...) I do find the lights on the front a bit distracting though, so I imagine the PF40 would be worse under a telly (unless you can switch the display off?)

You can adjust the display brightness Alex, it dims down to virtually off ;)
