Got my self a little computer for the living room

basically completely silent ... or as quiet as i am happy with at least - you cant hear it from the sofa really ... spotify in my livig room makes me happy! :)

so, windows 7 realtec hd drivers ...optical into majik ds-i makes clicking noises whilst music is playing, in fact it does it when music isnt palying... what can i do to get the best out of this optical output?

im not getting anywhere with stopping this clicking from the optical connection.. it happens when we move around the room...
can anyone suggest a solution ... maybe one of these m2tech things would solve the issue?

I was getting that witha media player connected to DAC, Just lobbed the player in the bin.

Well I ain't doing this, it let's me watch iplayer and the like... This is a minor niggle in my books

If you plug in the analogue outputs of the soundcard into the DAC it doesnt do it.I thought it was a problem with the DAC muting or summert but all this technology crap does my head in so never persued it.Is it like a scrape'in click type sound?

No it's sporadic quiet clicking that happens from vibration somehow

I think a m2tech hiface thingy is on the cards ... Prob be better than the standard optical output anyway ...

solved it using an external soundcard with spdif ... ....
