Originally purchased new from New Audio Frontiers in April last year these Swiss-made speakers are tall, slim and elegant enough to have a comfortably high WAF factor (my wife really liked them anyway).
Despite their modest width, depth and diminutive looking drive units they punch well above their 12 kg each weight to fill your listening room with an astonishingly big sound in which they are able to 'disappear' with a wide range of quality partnering equipment.
They were featured in an article written in issue 49 of Hi-fi+ magazine in conjunction with Densen equipment where Roy Gregory had the following to say:
Perhaps it's the Piegas, perhaps it's the excellence, control and grip of the B330, but there was none of the tell-tale signs to suggest the speakers and the amp were in any way limiting what was coming off the disc.
In the 15 months or so that I've owned them I've used them to considerable satisfaction with the following amplifiers: Densen B300XS, Densen B330, Puresound A30 valve amplifier modified by Tube Distinctions.
Apart from a couple of very faint marks on the bases they are as new and come complete with all packaging, instructions and a Piega catalogue.
£750 plus delivery costs where applicable (£1500 new)
