I have one of these to give away as it is not being used. It works fine as far as I can tell and the only thing wrong with it is one of the silver alloy end caps has fallen off the volume control knob.

Collection only I am afraid from the Wirral...

Yes that's right Chris, DIN for the two phono and one tape input, and the little DIN speaker plugs too, all available from Maplin etc.

Too many, so-called audiophiles, can't see beyond the stylish looks of B&O gear - and in so doing, will sarcastically dismiss the marque as 'Habitat Hi-Fi'.

A lot of B&O's output in the '70s sounded good as well. Recently I bought myself a B&O 1700 tuner, a tuner which can stand alongside the Leak 'Troughline' or Quad FM3 or FM4 in sound quality; as well of course in having superb styling and ergonomics.

Careful Mike - that way madness lies!

We already have one member who collects turntables (and has something like 30 of them), another who has 33 pickup cartridges and one who has something like 25 tuners. And I have eleven items from the former British manufacturer: Quad.

Resist, resist, resist!

Are you sure you can't mega wrap and box it to send to Suffolk? I have a Beogram 3000 waiting to go with it. it's the later 1000 receiver too.....
