The reviews are a pretty good guide. See also here http://www.audiosector.com/downloads/hifi+review.pdf. This is a review of the Mk2 - which had to be introduced after the Blackgate caps became unavailable. My Mk1's are better.

Very neutral, very transparent. "Natural" is probably the 1-Word-Review.
Seems like more than 50 watts.

Said to be the best of the gainclone amps.

Nice amps, I like them a lot. :) They will handily beat the vast majority of the amps I have owned. (which is quite a few! :eyebrows:)
