Hi every one.
sorry for jumping on a post but it was a google search that took me there.
My name is Ian and im a bit of a hifi boffin had way to many hifi seperates in the past.
Im running a small Denon UD-M31 on my pc as thats were all my music is.
Ive got 62Gb of music on my pc so to much to list it all.
But a wide range form clasic to dance and the odd rock.
im from Worksop in Nottinghamshire in the good old uk.
Been known to fix the odd hifi seperates in the past.
I like building chip amps like gainclones.
So thats me and hello.

Im looking to build a set of t line speakers that can take two kef b200's one mid and one tweater can anyone help work out the size the cabs need to be?

Hi Ian, glad you found our little corner of hi-fi nuttiness. I suspect with your pedigree you will find lots of interest here. My ex-in-laws hailed from Worksop, but not been your way for a decade or more. Always remember running over a poor little blackbird (by accident, of course) on the A1 once after a visit. Was quite sad, especially for the blackbird.

Hi Ian, when you say T line i'm assuming you mean transmission line enclosures? If so they won't be small as 2 B200s will have the radiating area of a 12" driver & to do a good job the line will need to be bigger than this at the driver end. You may be able to taper the line but it'll still result in a fair size cabinet :rolleyes: I think if you were to kind of copy the RTLs ( Transducer Developments Limited) which would make a much smaller enclosure you'd end up with boomy bass as the B200s total Q is pretty high :(

:lolsign: Damn Alex, i have taken out at least 3 Pheasants with my FZR1000. Trust me it's no fun when something big comes into view out of your visor & decides to plunge into your radiator on a motorbike. Feathers everywhere streaming out of the fairing :( Unfortunately I killed a Badger to, not something you want to hit on a motorbike at speed :eek: Couldn't avoid it as i came over a hill, saw it, nearly cacked my pants & held on for my life, a glancing blow to the poor things head. Could have been much worse for me & my passsenger :rolleyes: I saw plenty of Deer to where i used to ride out at night - now that just doesn't even need contemplating :eek:
