Hello all,

I am running a mac mini music server via usb into Beresford 7520.

Into A Linn Classik Music T (preamp)

Daisy chained into two Aktiv Linn av5105 power amps.

My question is, Do I need the Classik as I do not use cd's or tuner?
Shall I sell it and possibly get an HD radio tuner?

What is everyone doing?

Thanks in advance!

does it sound better with or without the linn pre amp?

Surely you just need to try it and see?
If the dac is capable of driving the input impedance of your power amps well then this should be the better sound as the extra circuitry of the pre amp won't be in the way.
If the power amps are too tough a load for the dac then the opposite will be true.

If there's potential here but not quite enough grunt from the 7520, then a Gator'd Caiman would be my choice - double upgrade :)
