Hi
Ridiculously long shot given they didn't exactly made and sold thousands, but worth a try.

Those were in my beloved main system for years, then I moved on to Zu Druids (even bought here I think), and now I get to set up a desktop system, for which the JB3s would be perfect.

Any colour, any state as long as it's working.

Shipping to France, another pain I know.

Thanks for looking !

Sorry, completely forgot to reply. Great speakers innit ?
I saw the pair on hifishark- seller is the complicated kind ; there's one on a French site but seller wants more than the new price.
As for the very intriguing pair, with upgraded fostex drivers, that's on a finnish website, I'm still waiting to hear from the seller !
Not giving up, but exploring alternate options that are not active (despite knowing how good audioengine can be) such as the good ol' beovox cx series and some newer things.

If you're specifically looking for a pair of single driver speakers I have a pair with Mark Audio drivers that I'm selling on Pink Fish (https://pinkfishmedia.net/forum/threads/mark-audio-single-driver-speakers.319668/) at the moment.
Actually they're probably too big for a desktop.

Those look great, but a tad too big indeed !
Found a intringuing pair of tiny JVC single drivers like this

For 40€, I could easily be tempted...
Hard to find opinions about it but I think I'm going to give them a go !

If you want small I'd recommend a pair of QED Arias. I have 2 pairs, one in storage and another pair in my kitchen/dining room system. They's hooked up to an SMSL AO300, mainly using bluetooth, I sometimes why I bother with anything more sophisticated!

Thanks but I'm gonna have a go at these JVC widebanders. I smell potential !

Well I'm actually ecstatic.
These little boxes https://reverb.com/en-nl/item/68753287-jvc-sp-ux7000-20-watt-4-ohm-mini-bookshelf-speakers-2000s-cherrywood that I paid about 90€ (it's the model above the one I posted a link about in my previous post) are stunning. The sound is everything I was hoping for- the kind of detail I've only ever achieved in near field with widebanders.
Incredible depth. Works with all genres.
Paired with an Amptastic and a Micromega Mydac, it's a shockingly good system for the money.
Highly recommended. Pairs of the little brother (the UX2000) can be found for as low as 15€. Real wood and widebanders for this money, what is anybody waiting for !

Did someone on here just buy the pair of the 2000s on eBay? I put on an offer but it almost immediately got rejected as someone bought them.
