Hi all,
Im Lee from West Cornwall.
My main set up at home (not ideal but its in our family lounge, so placement suffers, untill the children move out, not holding my breath!!!).
A townshend elite rock 2, refurbished by therockdoc, with a michell tecnoarm (waiting to swap to an audiomods series 6 micrometer arm) and a kiseki purple heart, sat on a townshend seismic platform.
EAR mc4 sut on stack audio auva eq csa1,

Electrocompaniet AW250R powe amp,
Marantz cd6002
Xduoo ta20plus headphone amp
Sennheiser hd800s headphones
And Edingdale mk1 speakers on Stack audio auva 100
All interconects in the analogue chain are missing link cryo, .
Missing link slingshot dual helix mk2 speaker cables.

Most of my collection is old man stuff, biggest part is Pink floyd and Bob dylan, a chunk of neil young, led zeppelin, the band, leonard cohen, ccr, varied southern rock, more modern, alabama 3, black keys.
Anyways, that's me 👋

Welcome to the forum Lee, some interesting kit you have there... what do you think of your Stack Audio and Townshend isolation products, another of our members has just invested in some of the Stack Audio Auva :)

Thank you for the welcome!! The stack auva 100s made a massive difference with the speakers! Very impressed. The eqs are much more subtle, and my rack isn't great, im waiting on a newer one bring made by the carpentry department at work. The Townshend platform i only put in place yesterday and ive not really given it a workout yet, hopefully itll live up to its reputation!!

Welcome to AoS Lee, nice to have you join us! As Marco says, we’re a friendly bunch and most of us can relate to the “old man” vibes and not always just the music!

Looks an interesting system, post a pic or two if you can some time as we all like to be nosy! Enjoy the forum.

Absolutely not old man’s music. I should know, as it’s my music as well and I’m only twenty three.

I’ve been twenty three for fifty one years now and have no intention of growing old.

Welcome.

Well we all need something to look forward to :) Once you get the placement of the children sorted (ie get their own place), it'll all come right. For a while. Then grandkids come along, and it starts all over again!

Welcome to The Art of Sound Lee,

That's a fine system you have there. I know of most of the components you have there, but not the Audiomods Series 6 Micrometer arm. If you can manage it we would love to see some photographs of your system.

Don't worry about your taste in music: we're all "old men" here, regardless of age!

Welcome again
Barry

One of our forum members (JacHawk) has one. It's a beautiful piece of engineering.

Hi, Lee. Welcome to AOS. Nice system there. The Edingdales are lovely speakers, my pair are one of Colin’s first few made and I have no desire to change them, he is dearly missed.

The Edingdales are lovely speakers, my pair are one of Colin’s first few made and I have no desire to change them, he is dearly missed. they.areclivrly speakers, I believe these to be quite early too, im the second owner of them and I understand that he had some input into the spec. I can't imagine changing them
