MechLabor SL-102 turntable

I would like to offer you a very famous direct-drive turntable made by the Hungarian Mechanikai Labor. It is in very good conditions. It is equipped with MechLabor tonearm and EMT headshell and EMT TSD-15 pickup.
It has built-in RIAA correction and MC preamp.
The pickup is old and had not been used for a while, so probably it will need some restoration. This turntable was manufactured for studios and was sold all over the World. It is a professional broadcasting turntable.

Good question as this unit is my brothers and I am selling it for him.
One of my friends sold one 2 years ago for USD 2000 and that was not equipped with EMT shell and pickup but some cheaper stuff.
I also saw on the net that in Germany they are asking EUR 2400 for similar.
I was thinking around EUR 1500 plus shipping which would be around EUR 40.

Should there be a serious interest I am open for price negotiation.
Luckily I have PayPal account so I can accept this kind of payment but buyer has to cover the PayPal fee.

This deck is worth considering for those of you who hanker for an EMT 950.

EU1500 sounds very reasonable, though EU40 sounds a bit on the low side for shipping.

For example I paid ~ £2000 for my EMT 930, coincidentally also bought from a seller in Hungary. I paid ~ £300 for a custom-made wooden packing case for it to be flown to my local airport. Ironically, when I went to collect it, the case was brought out to my car on a fork-lift truck and was so large it was impossible to get it into the car. Sadly, with the help of the local staff, I had to unpack the deck (fitted into a plinth/console) which itself would go into the boot of the car. The lovely packing case with its thick felt/foam cushioning, canvas straps, and heavy-duty fixings ended up in the airport skip!

Thanks for your comment. I have never shipped this kind of heavy stuff but I was checking dpd.com and their delivery prices are very good.
Of course I did not calculate the price of the packing but I am a handyman :-) so I can create some kind of safe wooden box for it. I don't know hoe DPD ships the goods to UK but I have seen Ford Transit sized cars with DPD logo so I assume they deliver with those cars.

I really appreciate your suggestions so I will start the packing and once it is done I will ask DPD for an exact quote.
