Here for sale is a very fine pair of external crossovers for Tannoy Monitor Gold 12" and 15" (LSU/HF/12/8 and LSU/HF/15/8).

You'll find lots of positive feedback on RFCs crossovers on the various forums, including this one.

These were built for me in May and are for sale due to a sudden change in personal circumstances (redundancy).

The condition is new, they're finished in Sapele veneer and they come with a high quality wiring kit featuring XLR and new 4 pin plugs for the drivers.

They're designed by RFC to match the original specification, but with greater clarity and bass extension. The build quality is excellent as you can see from the photos. You can see a post by Paul about these on his Facebook page.

RFC aren't taking any new orders until August due to capacity and a build will take around 6 weeks from there, so this is an opportunity to buy some now and at a significantly reduced price (These are £1500 a pair new!).

If you want to get the very best out of your Tannoys, these are highly recommended.

£980 + shipping feels fair, given the current price from RFC. I'm in Sheffield if collection is preferred. The Mav Taxi comes this way pretty often too.

Nothing to do with your for sale post, but I notice in the background you have the new Quad "303" with the new Quad "33". Are you pleased with it? I'm interested, as it is their first new power amplifier not to use the feedforward current dumping circuit.

Anyway, good luck with the sale of the Tannoy crossovers.

OMG! I have never seen a pair of these come up for sale. I've already got a pair from years and would never sell mine. Probably the single best thing you can do to improve your old wardrobes!!!

I love my pair, they really make the Tannoys swing, tighten the bass and improve clarity and resolution so they still compete with modern speakers. I wouldn't go back to the originals. GLWS.

If I thought for a minute that I could modify these easily to work with my HPD 385’s I’d bite your hand off

Thanks for the supporting comments folks. I can’t afford to keep them, but they will make someone happy.

I hope the price is fair, given Paul’s current price of £1500 a pair.

@Barry I’ll come back to you separately re the Quad.

Bump. I really need to sell these and they're a bargain at the price. They're new, built in May this year and I've knocked £600 off!

So many folks saying how great they are, I just need to find the right buyer.

For those hesitating, the news just out is that Paul Coupe of RFC is retiring so no more of these excellent crossovers will be made…

They might be the last pair he made…

I’m putting a pause on this sale for a couple of weeks.

Don't blame you, look what happened to Croft prices after Glenn stopped making them. (Different situation obviously.)

Mine are going nowhere.
