Transformer secondary winding sanity check

I have been trying to identify a fault in my old UPS.
Last night I discovered that the transformer (part number TI.2-0000054-01) has continuity through any combination of the 4 different coloured wires.
Gemini tells me that it is dead, no more. If the transformer had a centre tap, would this continuity be normal?

Are two of the wires the primary winding and two of them the secondary winding? If yes, then continuity between any combination of them suggests a breakdown of the insulation between the primary and secondary windings, which could be dangerous.

Two wires on one side, four on the other.
Continuity between the two on one side, and any combination of the four on the other side.
No continuity between one side and the other.

OK, the wiring checks out.
It is a UPS transformer, so a multi-tap auto-transformer.
There is varying resistance across the wires.

I think I have actually found the culprit. A burnt out power relay.

An auto transformer only has one winding, it doesn't have separate primary and secondary windings.

I think it is custom wound for the Manufacturer.
