Not my words, but it's what Alan Clark told me TDB stood for and to be honest he wasn't wrong, many articles have been written about these fantastic speakers and all conclude that they are musical and get your feet tapping.

If you've been to NEBO over the last few years or even the WAM show you will probably have heard them, they are finished in light oak and mine have the controls on the back, they also come with the black stands, so why am I selling them well I've just moved and I simply don't have the room for them.

SpecificationsType: Three-way studio monitor / speaker
Frequency Response: 28Hz to 20 kHz
Tweeter 35mm Bullet
Midrange 130mm
Bass drive unit 305mm (12 inches)
Crossover Frequencies: 800 Hz and 6400 Hz
L-pad: 16dB to +3dB
Sensitivity: 96.5dB/W/m
Impedance: 8 Ohms nominal
Cabinet: Bass reflex ported
Speaker Dimensions: 65 x 38 x 38 cm (99 x 38 x 38 with stand)
Weight: 110 pounds each

As you can see from the photos, they are in fantastic condition and so I'm wanting £800 for them, I won't post them as they weigh 50kg each, however I'm willing to deliver for the cost of the fuel or you can collect from Wigan, bellow are the photos and a video of the TDB12's at the North West Audio Show in 2018

These are a bargain. Anyone out there with a valve amp should form an orderly line. GLWS. Someone will get a bargain.

Their high sensitivity makes them great candidates for valve amps, but I wouldn't rule out s/s (the extra watts might bring other benefits). I've heard them a number of times, at Mike's house and at NEBO, and I'd say they're a proper bargain - if I had space for them I'd be having them myself :)

I was at the original demo of these at the NW Audio show years ago and was quite impressed despite them being driven by an EAR valve integrated amp which I don't rate at all.

I suspect that they would be even better with a solid state amp.

Very kind words guys, to answer your question Colin, they work well with SS amps, I had a Pioneer SA8800 and they sounded fantastic driven by it
