For sale - 1 pair JM Lab Focal Electra 3 way - 4 driver tower speakers.
Full working order and good cosmetic condition, no scratches or dings. Only cosmetic issue is the mesh covering the bass ports has perished. (Not there for sonic reasons just to prevent 'foreign objects' getting in).
Truly a superlative loudspeaker which uses Focal 'W' cone low distortion drivers which are only used on their top models (currently the 'Sopra' line and above, check the price of those!).
6.5 inch dedicated midrange driver has transparency that IME equals high end electrostatic designs. The speakers are bi-wirable (I never had the links but I will include the high quality jumper cables shown in the photos).
The speakers have built in hard rubber feet into which spikes can be screwed if desired. The spikes are included in the sale.
Also included - all literature supplied with the speakers including the owner manual in French and English. Also a colour photocopy of the Hi-Fi Plus review, and a copy of Stereophile Vol 25 No. 6 (May-June 2002) with an extensive review of the speaker by Sam Tellig. His conclusion - 'Audition this loudspeaker and ask yourself if you can justify paying more.'
Hi-Fi Plus concluded 'A strong recommendation is in order.'
