View Full Version : Foggy TT dust cover
I’ve browsed over many alleged fixes for this issue but thought I’d ask on here before potentially wasting money on polishing products.
I’ve used T-cut in the past for fine scratches but I don’t think that’ll cut it on this issue.

I've seen worse than that sorted out with T-Cut.

Mate I’d be rubbing/polishing it for a week ! Though I swear T-cut isn’t what it used to be .

Maybe cutting compounds will be a bit more fierce than T Cut. And one of those polishing attachments for your drill to cut out the elbow grease. If you want to go really cheap there's always this:

I can recommend the use of toothpaste. Just how effective it will be depends on what caused the fogging of the plastic in the first place. If caused by solvent fumes, you will have your work cut out for you.

Toothpaste or get a polishing kit for headlights. Latter is better but need a good polishing pad for a drill. But it does depend on the scratching as well. Or find a new one there was a guy on eBay who made me one from new as long as it’s square edges as it gets pricey when it’s rounded corners etc

Probably it's just been in direct sunlight for a long time.
