It looks brand new - it even has the post Brexit UKCA compilation logo.

A friend of mine has one and it's very good. Runs hot as you would expect from a pure Class A amplifier.

I really should give it a longer period in my system.
I think it'll sound lovely with kef 103/2 i'm currently refurbing.

I bought this whilst looking for a summer amp. Doh!
My lounge gets a lot of sun and the front wall acts like a storage heater (single brick).

If you are looking for a "summer amp", don't choose a class A design! I used to run a couple of Mark Levinson amps. They were pure class A designs, very inefficient and ran hot. During the summer they would be replaced with more efficient design amps.

That aside, the MF A1 is an excellent amp, both in performance and looks. GLWS.

i use a fan on my valve amps.

No longer need a passive preamp.
BUT STILL AVAILABLE FOR A BARGAIN 760.
