My project to rip my c.3000+ CDs to a large HDD has ground to a halt for months after doing a few hundred as life with children takes precedence, so I have regretfully decided to pass this pair on to someone who can use it more than me.
I won't go into details as there is plenty online but the software is a gem, I could happily continue to use it for local/Qobuz streaming and internet radio (BBC, Soma FM etc) without ever ripping again, and you can save on a Roon subscription IMHO as it has great sorting and metadata.
It sounds lovely either via a good dac (via USB, coax or optical) or direct to analogue using the inbuilt DAC (it has a smooth and laid back non digital type sound).
As I have an old Linn streamer which sounds nearly as good I've decided to fall back onto that and let someone else have the opportunity to own the best ripper/streamer in this price range.
Both items are double boxed and in great condition as can be seen (there is some dust and fingerprint marks but that's it) but I would prefer collection from N London near the M25/A1/A10/North Circular to avoid any courier mishaps unless the buyer is prepared to take the risk.
I am asking a fair £1100 which is a good price for the 2Tb version - every one I've seen for sale has been the 1Tb version which does fill up quicker than you think (I have the Mk2 1Tb in my second system which I also need to list at some point).
It currently has a good choice of eclectic music on it but I can of course factory reset as the buyer wishes. Note the original SMPS is also included with the Zen if anyone wants to split the package but I'd rather not at the moment.
