FOR SALE | Alchris Audio TX55 Signature Floor standing loudspeakers.

For sale here is my Alchris Audio TX55 signature floorstanding loudspeakers. They come with two sets of grills and fitted with isolation feet on outriggers. This is a very reluctant sale as they are a terrific sounding loudspeaker from a very highly reputable manufacturer. They are designed and built in the UK bt Alchris Audio in Wakefield Yorkshire. See specs below. Due to their weight and being a custom order I elected not to have cartons made so I would prefer the speakers to be picked up so I can also demonstrate that they are in full working order etc. However, I would be willing to meet in a 40 miles radius of my home on Teesside (TS25) They are Rosewood finish and in very good condition. RRP for these speaker is £4,250

Nothing could really replace these. I have to move into a much smaller dwelling so the whole thing is a bit distressing. i love these speakers but they won't fit into my next abode which is much smaller. i hope their next owner looks after them and enjoys them as much as i have.

Steve, if you can get yourself to the NW Audio Show at Cranage, Alchris had a room there last year and will this year too. You're probably aware that Alan's range of speakers these days is pretty wide and I'd say there's something there for everyone. You might just find something there that will fit your new place.

I am more than happy to demonstrate these speakers at my home in the North East. However, an appropriate vehicle will be needed to trasport them as they are not exactly small. I will include tea and maybe biscuits with the demonstration ha ha ha

Please note that you will need an estate car/van or an appropriately large vehicle to collect these chaps in as they are a little on the larger side.

Iv'e had a few enquiries about amp matching. I have used these speakers with 40 watt valve amps and they sound great. I am currently driving them with an ATC P1 power amplifier no problem. So, you won't need a massive Krell or their likes to drive them unless you are planning on locating them on a small hall.

I would consider a swap for a high end balanced headphone amplifier or mid priced, high quality mid priced balanced headphone amplifier with cash adjustment.

I had a full evening with these speakers and just like every other time i listened to them, they really did bring a smile to my face. If someone doesn't buy them in the next few days i may consider a plan B and take them off the market.

I am unable to as the house we will be moving to is already owned by my partner so we won't actually be looking for a house as she already owns the house we will be moving into. The price of being divorced and losing my shirt. No sob story here though as i am a lot luckier than many.
