FS Audio Technica AT1005 mk11 (modified)

For sale an excellent condition Audio Technica AT 1005MK II tonearm modified and upgraded by Angus (Phonomac), checked out and serviced by him.

To quote Angus, "The AT-1005 Mk2 has the standard upgrades that I do – re-wired in KAB Superflex, arm tube damping inserts, and ceramic hybrid bearings in the pillar for horizontal motion plus re-polished bearing pins for the vertical motion. All cleaned and adjusted on re-assembly."

It works smoothly and flawlessly and is quite simple to set up. The tonearm comes with arm rest, head shell, Jelco arm lift and original packaging. template, instructions etc.

Same geometry as Rega, so a relatively inexpensive upgrade. Had it mounted on my Roksan Xerxes replacing an RB300. Superb.

Looking for £350 delivered UK.

Superb arm - seriously underrated - I used to have an Angus modified one also.
Don't know Steve, but thought I'd add my tuppenceworth!

Angus's work is superb and highly recommended (I do know Angus well).
Use to have one of these on a Lenco (GL75/GL70?) and the pivot to spindle distance was a very good match.
Turned out so well I made a mate one for his 50th.
High weight tonearm so matches some good MC's very well.

Only ever sold mine to buy an Augus Modified AT1010.
Have a bump on me ...

Many thanks Keith. I also have a Phonomac AT1010 on my Angus built SP10, so I recognise the appreciation of the work carried out. This 1050 was used to replace a rega 300 on my Roksan Xerxes when I ran 2?systems. The uplift in sound quality once the AT1050 was in place was fantastic.
At the price I’m asking it’s a total bargain.
Cheers and thanks for the bump
