For Sale: Fidelity Designs Ltd Reference sub-platter upgrade for Rega
In excellent condition.
Machined 6082 alloy Reference sub-platter upgrade for Rega Planar 1, 2, 3, P25, P78 & Rega P2, P3, Rega P3-24, fits nearly all Rega turntables including the new 2016-2020 models. The Reference sub-platter upgrade uses a precision ground and polished bearing grade stainless steel shaft which has a PEEK thrustpad installed on the tip of the shaft, this provides a low friction surface for running on top of the ball in the Rega brass bearing sleeve. This low friction non metalic surface will reduce the noise floor of your turntable. A longer than standard record spindle allows the fitting of record clamps to your turntable. The sub-platter has a Delrin center boss with a Silicone ring to help center the platter.
