Grundig box 106M loudspeakers

Does anybody know how to get into these little boxes from 1973?
All screws removed on the back, no other visible screws, grille stuck sold. No movement. I just really want to be replace the captive speaker wire. Any advice gratefully received at this point.

I can't find anything online but I did see these which I wasn't aware of and look very interesting. Sorry doesn't help you much though.

At a guess the backs are also glued on - try a razor blade or craft knife run along the joins.


Really I would not go to the trouble of changing the wire. It only covers a small distance so cannot have enough resistance to matter.

Thanks Chaps - I cannot get into these. The sourrond is in one piece, and kind of wedges on, probably with glue applied to either front or back parts of the speaker box. Sliding a long thin knife between sourround and case doesn't seem to break the seal. hey ho.
