Having done the passive mod this is no longer being used, and might be useful to a fellow Beresford 7520/Caiman owner not upgraded their board yet.
The Board has the following improvements made to it...
1. Upgraded Headphone Stage
Red Wilma Caps for the headphone stage that Stan said helped some high end headphones.
2. Upgraded Capacitors
6 x Rubicon CE 16uf 50v Caps (the good grey ones) to improve on the stock ones.
3. Upgraded OpAmps fitted
Opamps fitted LM4562, but board will come with the original NE3552 and OP2123 amps, which had to be ordered from the States and are VERY good.
This'll let you have a chance to try out different opamops, see which ones suit best.
I upgraded my Dac as part of the "Group Buy" of components a while back, and these mods gave a substantial imrpovement over the stock board.
Instant Upgrade, just unplug the old board and plug the new one in!
I'm ideally looking for £45 delivered within the UK.
