Hi All

Does anyone happen to have a spareKEF SP 1089 Tweeter for a Chorale III or recommend a drop in replacement with same spec?

From a web search:

I have cross referenced the various vintage KEF speakers and their drivers and found that the T33 SP1089 was used in many models, so I would expect it to be rather easy to find. One interesting thing is that none of the information on the speakers (obtained a few years back from the KEF Museum pages on the KEF websites make any reference to SP1089M. What's more, none of the KEF SPnnnn numbers have any letter designation after the number. I would simply look for an SP1089 replacement unit.

In addition to the Chorale III, it was used on Cresta III, Cantor III, Coda III, Carina II and C10 models. I can see a few on ebay at the moment at reasonable prices in the UK and Europe.

Had a Pair of Goodmans DT2's laying around so popped them in the Chorale and they work rather well as a whole i rigged them up not expecting much but they sound as good as its going to get not paying £70 US for an original

It's nice that some people sell these sort of spares to keep vintage speakers going. I'm sure they're not a big money spinner and it's more for a love of audio and vintage speaker brands.
