FS: Mission 717 (white front) speakers and stands

Classic 80s speakers from Mission sounding good for what they are (would make a great student/vintage system), and the cabinets are in very good condition for their age with the usual light marks and scratches.

Interest in this range has increased with the re-release of updated versions designed by Peter Comeau, so get yourself a pair of the originals.

I want just £75 for the speakers for a quick sale, and £25 for the stands which are nearly new and look like Partington to me. They usually go for a lot more so get yourself a bargain.

Collection from N London near the M25, A1 and North Circular.

The first person to come for either item can have a free Yamaha tuner and tape deck (untested) if they want them.

Had a pair of these in the 80’s used them with a creek 4040 really thought I’d reached hifi nivarna, life was so much easier then GLWTS

True they were before my time, I started in the late 80s and liked black speakers, I couldn't stand plain wood veneer, how times have changed!

However, listening to these still reminds me of how happy I was with my first system.

If I didn't already have c.10 pairs of speakers in the garage/loft not being used I would be all over these like a rash... Good luck with the sale!

I also recall them as really good. Used to be a record shop in Manchester had some, possibly Eastern Bloc.
