Hi all
The reason for asking is that there's a chap on eBay selling a Garrard 301 plinth which I would like to buy. Now, I did actually buy it, but he cancelled the auction, saying it was strictly collection only. I'm based in North London, and it would cost be £80 there and back, so that's a no go. I did politely offer him a box to put it in and that I would pay for postage, but that also was a no no....so before I forget this idea...It's cheap and it's for a crusty 301 that deserves a pan to sit on.
If someone is local, they could pick it up, I'll send you a pre paid box, and tape and packaging and £20 for your trouble, then you could send it to me?
throwing this out to the universe....someone must live in Sutton Coldfield?
