Hi all, after many questions ive blown me money on the denon 103dl, ive put
a five pence on the standard headshell and im very pleased with how it sounds, ive noticed if you level the tonarm with the record the thumb wheel
is very close to the record also the arm is all the way down to get it level so
do i need a spacer to go with the sumiko headshell that ive ordered from ebay
to space the cartridge a bit lower, ive then got to figer the total weight for
the cartridge headshell spacer screws nuts washers and wires to get the best from the cartridge turning up a larger tonearm weight is not a problem
ive a lathe, but figering out the maths is according to the manual the arm is
11g it does not say if this includes the headshell but i think it would can
anyone help with the maths. thanks phil

The tonearm mass *always* includes the headshell.

Hi giovanni, looking at your calculator you have bare tonearm mass 4.5g

this is less headshell right, also you have no weight for wires is that included

in your headshell weight. of 12g thanks phil

Phil
yes, the wires are included.
And thank you for your Q, so I could correct the label of FR Calculator:
from: Headshell weight
to: Headshell weight included wires
