As above, DCS Purcell & Delius wanted :) With this kind of equipment i'd expect it to be in rather good condition ;) Firewire isn't really needed..

If i'm ever going to invest in these bits of kit it might as well be now, so i have time to enjoy the music :)

Cash or Paypal or whatever agreement we can come to :cool:


Hopefully some google spider will get it out there :eyebrows:

Still looking ;) I'm aware that what i want is on AudiGon, i just don't fancy the import duty & VAT that would make it very costly :eek:

Funny but the chap on AudioGon joined here as he must have seen the wanted add on Google, again it just shows how AoS google rankings are climbing 3027

Still after a Purcell & Delius ;) Bring em on! UK & Europe only as no import duty or VAT :eyebrows: Well not unless you are going to sell them for silly money :mental:

Graham at Retro Reproductions in Edinburgh sometimes has these. Why not ring him and ask.

Just had a look on the website Neil, unfortunately they don't appear to have them. Not to worry though, thanks for the tip, i'll keep an eye on what they get in in future :)

You need to ring the list on his website is not complete or always up to date.

He has a list of kit people have for sale etc so its always worth asking. He has been listing some DCS items for awhile now in his HiFi World add and it hasn't been in the shop when I have called with him (last time back in September) so he is selling it for a private seller.

Graham is a nice guy.

Aha, yes this kind of thing does sound kind of familiar ;) I know another Hifi shop that did the very same.

Out of interest, is the delius below the Elgar or different?

The studio versions are also available, 954/955 for the Elgar and 972/974 for the Purcell although in many ways there is less depreciation on these than the consumer versions but more likely to find the studio gear for sale cheap via liquidation sales of some kind. Also, less accessible consumer features like the volume knob on the front.

Just slightly different from what i have read & a different case which i'm not that keen on tbh...

It must be christmas, just bagged myself a Purcell upsampler 3308

Looks like i'll have to bring the Caiman into use as it'll accept 24/96 where as my present DAC won't...

So, still after a Delius DAC but in no real rush now as these seem to be much more common :eyebrows:

Scratch that :eyebrows: No longer looking for a Delius either...

Two dcs factory refurbished units will be on the way to me before next weekend :smoking:
