headphone amplifier, complete with two sets of valves one of which is vintage.
I just don’t get the time to use it and have sold the Grado PS1000e and Sennheiser headphones I used it with - both with good effect. Improved body, soundstaging, a more coherent sound.
The included valves are pictured. The good ones are the Tung Sol ‘mouse ears’ from the 1950’s and JAN 5751 valve with a Cryo stamp from Watford valves. There are also a pair of Electro Harmonix and contemporary 5751 / 12at7 valve.
There is also a ceramic and titanium ring which is meant to reduce ringing in the preamp valve.
Boxed with instructions
Based in Edinburgh, can post at buyer’s expense.
