£400 sound about right? ... The basic 4 tier rack is £740 new

But shelves have polishing scratches and a few scuffs as can be seen I photos (it is also dusty :) )

Im going a bit audio visual with my big telly Hamish so i think it has to go.

That's it! ... Our house hasn't been tidier than it has the last few weeks ...
Marco, we haven't the space for me to argue to much ... It's alright for you you have your own room :)
She gets her way Marco, a: it's easier for me and b: her happiness is more important ... One day, bigger house, my own hifi room, Adam alphas :)

Wow Hamish! Looks like u were excited to first get that rack, u must of ripped open the box in a frenzy....look at the state of it! Lol!

Its just about fining the right compromise ... My layout was better at one stage but I have found as close as dammit sound with the speakers further apart but toed right in and oddly enough turned upside down and stuck to the stands with a tonne of blutack ... It also looks nicer in the living room, the tv is between the speakers so I can get good sound whilst watchin films ... And most importantly Hannah is happy and doesn't bug me about it ... I actually get more pleasure out of the hifi when Hannah is happy with it ... If she isn't then it's tainted and I can't relax as much listenin to it ...

Pretty much what im after although my speakers look boring compared with your works of art.

Hannah chose the speakers on aesthetics ... I paid more for them than I could really afford because I knew she was happier ... And blimey did letting her have a voice in that decision pay off for me!!
I got to spend more and get something better than I imagined I could ever afford ... And she was happy ...

Don't worry dude - they all are - just different monkeys, and sometimes different bags - but all loonies - otherwise they couldn't cope with us blokes!
