I've subscribed to RP for a while now and use it on and off. I like the no chat and quality that it offers.
Anyone else just received and read the email from William Goldsmith? It takes some reading..like really concentrate...but I just hope that the Main Mix doesn't get ruined by this new way of thinking.

Written English can be so entertaining [emoji1787]....
I want to post the full email content here, but it's long, and might not be that entertaining for some.
Edit:
Here it is on PinkFish if anyone wants to read it. Note the length though..[emoji38]

He's definately wordy!
Was a good read through.

Can see where he's coming from, though kinda disagree with some of this choices.
But its his Ball... so will see how it comes out.

He's definately not coming from a bad place,
Anyone that quotes Dr Johnny Fever from WKRP in Cincinnati is definately a music first guy!

The sheer number of listening options these days is overwhelming.

My default is daytime BBC 6 for its blend of familiar and new, but I find some of the DJs irritating. Looking at RP's Main Mix right now the content seems in the same vein, so I think I'll give it a go this week - thanks for the recommendation :)

I also like SOMA FM, which has multiple channels that go deep into different genres and are great for discovering things I've never heard of before.
